Procrastinate no more! At final last, im updating on my trip to bali 3 weeks back.yes yes yes i know taking 3 weeks to update is not very efficient.. but please forgive me and my busy schedule ok? i shall show u loads of pictures to make up for it :)
Those were pictures from the plane. Nice right? Cool right? I got so super excited in the plane when i saw all these beautiful scenes that i wanted to just jump off the plane and land there immediately..And below the symbol of bali (in my opinion).
cos almost every building has it at their main gates..
u get the idea..my hotel~
Streets of bali..it reminds me oh so much of Chiangmai in Thailand..
Okok here comes the interesting part (at least i think)..look at the pictures below, notice anything special about bali?
noticed noticed?
still dont get it?
ok let me tell u..No buildings in Bali can exceed the height of a fully grown coconut tree. That makes all parts of Bali fully exposed to the hot blazing sun.Yes it was oh so hot i tell u!So hot that me and my mom didnt wanna go out on the streets in the day..And behold the below.Bali is a very hinduistic city, majority of the Balinist are hindus. And they have a very unique practice.. they leave their little prayer stuff (i dont know the name) right in the middle of their main gate as a form of prayer and worship. They change it twice a day, morning and evening.
Even the shops in the malls have them.. but at the side so that people dont kick it accidentally (or not) i think..
And their weird weird statues..I only dare to take pics with it during the day..
They have creative ways in cutting their hedges.. haha i love this one very much..can tell right what it is!
more pics on the streets of bali..its a tourist city, so well u can see these stalls everywhere..beware not to walk too near the stalls, the people will drag u in and pester u until u buy something.. sorry guys i didnt buy any souvenirs.. well my luggage bag is only that big, and my mom told me not to buy, so well, forgive me.
oh, and look at the house-like gate thing below..it so reminds me of my drawings in primary school..wahaha i cant believe such ugly buildings really exist..
oh but i like their roofs though..this is their petrol station..
haha all sorts of shapes they have..
and sometimes their buildings have weird designs.like i dont know why the wall has to pop out..
and then its the beach time.

i dont find the beach so very nice, in fact i think Gold Coast beats this beach thousands of times. But i think this beach is very popular for wind-surfing, so maybe why its so famous?Who knows? Ask the beach-sters!
Most people travel around by motorcycles. I would find it annoying if im driving. And one more thing, taxi drivers in Bali will honk randomly on the streets to attract customers. Weird right? the first 2 days in Bali i kept thinking i was blocking their ways. Scared me for no reason.
Police and security guards were everywhere to check if anyone has a bomb in their bags. They cannot afford another Bali bombing i think.
And I saw the biggest sofa!
Okay byebye Bali!
Hope the lousy pics didnt turn u guys off. I had no mood at all to take pics as I did in Europe because of the super hot weather..
