Whether u believe it or not, i actually studied today!!
Yeah, although i only read slightly more than 2 chapters of Finance (and its the most basic stuff), but then i personally am proud of myself cos at least thats a start =) *claps for self*
Actually it was Gong Lei, a friend from Business, i told him i was gonna go back to my room to sleep, and he made me guilty by saying 'dont be lazy, lets go study'.
And another guy said he had alr finished reading more than 4 chapters of MacroEcons (not my module).. Wtheck! the teacher only covered i think less than 2 chapters!
Now i feel the real competition.
What i experienced n who i mixed with in the past year was not even qualified to be called stress!
My mum called while i was in the reading room, and then she kept saying im kiasu.
Its only the beginning of Week2 of school!
Then i told her i've spent quite a lot of money this month on books n some shopping stuff, she was like 'so?' and then when i was still stunned she said 'buy better stuff ya! dont care discount or not' and i was like OK!
Start to envy me having such a cool mum? well u should =P
The tutorial results were out just now, and i didnt manage to get any slots for 2 of my tutorials.
Sucks!
I really dont like the system of bidding for modules and balloting for tutorials..
Makes no sense!!
If they can just let us choose which slot we want then open classes to cater to all the demands, rocks lah!
But too bad, i dont think that will happen even in my dreams.. SIGH!
I havent touched Harry Potter yet today.If i were who i was, i wouldn't have slept last night if i havent finished reading the book..I might have even skipped today's lecture!
But i dont know why, just no motivation to read.
Guess i'm not so crazy bout Harry Potter anymore..
