with ice creams too! imagine how much weight i'll put on~ then we took a long walk to digest our overstuffed stomachs. Argh, the food was so good! But wat really pleased me today, is that i managed to get around singapore without having anyone being my driver. I had to ask around, obviously, and the people here r kind enough to point me the way. Not always trustable though. Before today, i had no idea where Singapore General Hospital was. The lady from the uni asked me to take bus num 33, n so i did. But where to get down? So i asked the one sitting beside me to let me know when to alight the bus. He did very well in that, even insisting that i use the bridge to cross the road instead of the zebra crossing =.='' full of thanks i am! And then in the hospital, i asked around for the canteen, where my aunt said she will wait for me. N everyone gave me different directions!!! They were like har? canteen? wat canteen? oh, there! Then i believed them, n got my butt to the wrong places. N i had to run around, cos i wouldnt wanna keep my aunt waiting too long, n boy, such a tiring afternoon of exercise under the bright n shining sun! The exercise i had today, including the one at night, is more than what i used to do in a week back in malaysia. It was definately anything but fun! N finally i found out that it was called food court n not canteen. No wonder everyone looked blur~ ARGH so tiring! Anyway, just wanted to post on my progress in getting used to the transportation system over here. N btw, who ever said singapore isnt beautiful? Look at this!
