I just woke up from my 3 hours nap. Tired i was, but that cannot stop me from still being extremely high n excited over the match last night. Simply amazing! It was THE MATCH! I'm loving it to bits and pieces. If i watched the England vs Sweden match for 3 times, which i did, i would watch this match 6 times. Oh my goodness, i love it so much! Schweinsteiger, the suddenly noticed German player, he earned his fame. 3 goals all because of him. The first half of the match was rather plain, both teams tried hard enough to score, but nothing came out of their effort. The 2nd half was simply GOOD. Although Portugal had higher possession of the ball, Germany made full use of their possession, n 3 goals were formed. Oooooh, when the first goal went in, i was jumping all around in delight. The 2nd goal met me with a surprise. I didnt believe it was goal till they were celebrating. OWN GOAL! Wahahaha~ N the third goal, AGAIN, its schweinsteiger. Took me like half a minute to digest this great news. Germany 3 goals! Whosh! Klinsmann was obviously so happy n certain that his team would win. Kind as he was, he swapped many new players in and brought klose, podolski n even schweinsteiger out. Haha, so nice to watch the match. Oliver Kahn was as sharp as ever at age 37! He stopped all C. Ronaldo's attack, n everytime Kahn got hold of the ball, the crowd roared in delight. The only goal that portugal scored was beautiful. Unstopable. I guess that will be Figo's last goal in the world cup. Not that the goal was scored by him, but without him, the goal could have never come true.
Many people said i looked cheerful this morning. Was it that obvious? Haha, yup yup yup, im very happy!!! I was so excited after the match, that i continued to stay up after the match n watched the prize giving ceremony, watch the cant-see-much-of-it fireworks in the totally dark stadium, watched the Germans celebrate.. Michael Schumacher was grinning n smiling all the way in the crowd. Well, seems like i will miss tonight's final match because i have to sit for my piano exam early tomorrow morning, n i need the sleep. That explains why this weird world cup fan dont watch the most important match. To me, Germany is most important. At these times, im thankful that Germany cant play in the finals, or else i will have to force myself to stay up no matter what. Haha, anyway, whether France or Italy wins, it doesnt matter so much anymore. If italy wins, it will show that Germany lost to the strongest team. If France wins, it shows that Italy is NOT unbeatable. Whichever way it goes, I wont be there to watch it. Sad as it may be, but people, wish me luck n lots n lots of blessings for my piano exam k!!!
